The first NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Women's Basketball Poll was released on Tuesday this week, and the Comets found themselves just out of the Top 25. MSU, who was picked to finish 2nd in the NSAA, sits at #26 to start the 2017-18 season after receiving 56 points for the Top 25. Starting next weekend, the Comets will get a chance to play several teams this season that are currently ranked in the Top 25 in the country, it should be an exciting year for the Comet women's basketball team.

The Comets will be back in action next weekend with a pair of home games. They play Dordt College at 6:00 PM on November 3rd, and follow that up with a Saturday matchup against #17 Northwestern College at 2:00 PM the following afternoon. Both Dordt College and Northwestern play in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
